Henry Onyekuru has confirmed the speculation of a move to Everton by posting a picture of him visiting the club on social media.
The 20-year-old KAS Eupen player has been strongly linked with a move to the Premier League in recent weeks after enjoying superb season in Belgium’s top flight.
Arsenal appeared to be in pole position to sign the Nigerian after he confirmed an offer and explained his admiration for Gunners great Thierry Henry.
"I remember saying if I had to move to the Premier League I want to be like Thierry Henry, so it's likely to come true and I'm looking towards it at the moment,” said Onyekuru.
However, it now appears that Everton are close to landing a transfer for the player, with Onyekuru having a medical at the club earlier this week.
The player himself confirmed his visit to Goodison Park with the following post on Instagram:
Onyekuru will not stay with the Toffees for the 2017/18 season, with reports claiming the attacker will be sent back to Belgium for a loan spell with Anderlecht.
