Kaizer Chiefs' corporate communications manager Vina Maphosa is confident that Amakhosi will win major trophies next season.
The Amakhosi official was speaking ahead of this year's Bokone Bophirima Maize Cup which will take place in Orkney, South Africa next month.
Chiefs are coming off a disappointing 2016/17 campaign which saw them end the season trophyless.
"They (players) are asking themselves questions. We are blessed and privileged to have a squad of professional players," Maphosa told MaizeCup.co.za.
"I don't they will be discouraged. The current situation will bring out the best in the players.
Chiefs are set to make their first appearance in the Maize Cup and this will be third edition of the pre-season tournament.
"Remember a team of Chiefs' staunch was built as a winning team. I am talking about winning trophies left, right and centre for many years," he added.
"You are bound to go through a dip. But this is the time to reflect and refresh the team, and also check where we are at the moment.
"Next season we are going back to where we belong. That's the message from the club."
Amakhosi are scheduled to face Botswana giants Township Rollers in the semi-final clash at the James Motlatsi Stadium on 15 July 2017. Kick-off is at 12h00 CAT.
The other semi-final clash will feature South African sides Platinum Stars and Free State Stars at the same venue. Kick-off is at 10h00 CAT.
