Former Zamalek midfielder Omar Ismael Youssef says Mohamed Salah’s big-money move to Liverpool has had a “huge impact” on Egyptian football.
Youssef also told Tribalfootball that Salah should be played on the right wing by manager Jurgen Klopp, following his transfer from Italian giants Roma.
"It's left a huge impact on Egyptian players, especially youngsters," Youssef explained.
"Everyone dreams of playing in the biggest league in the world and Salah is a role model to all of us.
"Yes of course, the whole country is talking about Salah."
The former Zamalek man, who is nicknamed Tigana, reckons Salah’s pace will make him perfect for the English top flight.
"I think Salah's best position is as a right winger. His pace and dribbling skills would add a lot to Liverpool and he'll create a striking force along with Sadio Mane, Roberto Firmino and Coutinho."
