Turkish Super Lig side Bursaspor are reportedly closing in on a move for Ghana striker Abdul Majeed Waris.
GHANASoccernet reports that new Bursaspor coach Paul Le Guen has targeted the Black Stars attacker as he looks to strengthen his squad ahead of the 2017/18 season.
Waris scored nine goals for Lorient last term, though it wasn’t enough to prevent relegation from Ligue 1.
The 25-year-old has played in Turkey before, having endured a difficult spell with Trabzonspor in 2014/15.
Bursaspor club president Ali Hay has confirmed talks with Lorient in regards to a possible transfer have gotten underway.
"We talked to his coach. We want to buy him [Waris] or borrow [loan] him. We have good news,” said Hay.
