Former Mamelodi Sundowns and Bafana Bafana midfielder Teko Modise has joined Cape Town City on a two-year deal and will wear jersey number 13.
The former Brazilians midfield general parted ways with the African champions two weeks ago after his deal was not renewed.
Following his departure at Chloorkop, he was linked to a number of clubs in the South African Premier Soccer League including a return to Orlando Pirates.
However, he has since completed his switch to the ambitious Mother City side as he will work under the guidance of coach Benedict McCarthy for the upcoming 2017/18 PSL campaign.
The Citizens took to Twitter on Wednesday morning to reveal their new signing, and the 'General' will hope to become a regular for the club.
“CTCFC midfielder Teko Modise will wear the lucky number #13. The 1st time a player has donned this jersey at the club,” reads a statement.
