Chinese Super League (CSL) side Jiangsu Suning FC have signed Cameroonian star Benjamin Moukandjo from French club Lorient.

The Ligue 2 outfit announced on their official website that the 28-year-old striker had left the club which he had joined in 2015 from French side Reims.

A club statement read: "Benjamin Moukandjo is now heading to China and Jiangsu Suning FC in the summer of 2015 from the Stade de Reims, one year from the end of his contract with the FCL.

"The club's top scorer in Ligue 1 over the past two seasons, the Cameroonian
international, winner of the last African Cup of Nations, has carried the colors of the FCL 56 times and scored 26 goals."

Loïc Féry, the president of the Lorient, praised the Cameroon captain, who has played 55 times for the Indomitable Lions - netting 10 goals in the process.

"Benjamin has played with pride in the club's jersey for the last two seasons," Féry told the club's official website.

"And has been decisive on numerous occasions under our colors. I wish him every success in the years to come."

Last season, Moukandjo scored 13 goals in 25 Ligue 1 appearances for Lorient, who were relegated to the Ligue 2 at the end of the campaign.
