West Ham United's spending spree has threatened to push Andre Ayew down the pecking order at the East London club.
The Hammers have reinforced their attacking options with the signings of Marko Arnautovic and Javier Hernandez in recent weeks, and Ayew will be wary of the fact that his place in the starting eleven is under threat.
Ayew completed a then club record £20.5 million move from Swansea City 12 months ago, and despite injury and his participation at the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations restricting his game time at the club - the Ghana international started the last 10 games of the season.
With Andy Carroll, Manuel Lanzini, Robert Snodgrass, Sofiane Feghouli and utility player Michail Antonio also vying for a starting spot - the 27-year-old will have to be at his best if he is to continue being a first team regular.
In 59 Premier League appearances, Ayew has scored 18 goals, chipping in with a further eight assists.
