Inacio: Zamalek have to be more stable

Augusto Inacio believes Zamalek have to stop rotating coaches if they want to achieve long term success, with the former Portugal international the ninth managerial change the Egyptian giants have enforced in two years.

Appointed in April as the 20th manager in 10 years at the White Knights, Inacio was sacked earlier this week following a poor run of form - bringing an end to his spell as head coach after a mere four months in charge.

Having failed to guide the club to an African Champions League spot, while also crashing out of this years competition in the group stages, it was almost destined for the former Sporting boss to get the boot.

Despite a bitter end to his spell in charge of the club, Inacio stated that he will remain a Zamalek supporter, but warned that the club needs more stability.

" I was happy to work with Zamalek, I wish I could stay and win more championships," KingFut quoted the 62-year-old as saying.

“I have become a fan of Zamalek. I will always watch Zamalek; my concentration with Zamalek made me decline managerial offers from other clubs.

Inacio continued: “Zamalek need to be more stable, the coaches must have enough time. The players must be more professional and do their bes
