Montpellier HSC midfielder Keagan Dolly is hoping that the 2017/18 campaign turns out to be his breakthrough season in the French Ligue 1.
The 24-year-old attacking midfielder is now hoping to play more regularly for Montpellier, who are under the guidance of Armenian coach Michel Der Zakarian.
“Personally, I want to try and be part of the team and play week in, week out," Dolly told Kick Off Magazine.
The former South Africa Under-23 captain hinted that he would like to leave La Paillade for a bigger club once he had gained enough experience.
“I want to get the experience I need to move to bigger and better things because this is only the start," he added.
"There are places that I want to be and things I want to achieve.”
Dolly joined Montpellier from South African giants Mamelodi Sundowns midway through the 2016/17 campaign and he made 12 Ligue 1 appearances.
The left-footed attacker was an unused substitute as La Paillade defeated Caen 1-0 in their first 2017/18 league game on Saturday.
