Asamoah Gyan says he is looking forward to making his Turkish Super Lig debut when Kayserispor tackle Galatasaray on Monday.
Gyan, who joined Kayserispor on a two-year deal last month, has scored three goals in preseason to hint at the danger he will pose in the 2017/18 campaign.
The 31-year-old admits he has a high regard for Istanbul giants Galatasaray, but has warned them that his side should not be taken lightly.
"Since I first came to Kayseri, there have been a lot of interest in me and my colleagues," he told Dogan News Agency, as quoted by GHANASoccernet.
"I know that Galatasaray is a great team and it will be a tough match. But nobody should see us as a small team.
"Because football is 90 minutes. Anything can happen, the result will be announced after 90 minutes and so we'll see."
The teams will meet at the Turk Telecom Stadium in Istanbul on Monday.
