Egypt international, Ramadan Sobhi, has committed his foreseeable future to Stoke City by penning a new five-year contract at the club.
The Potters on Thursday evening announced that they had agreed a new deal with the talented attacker with Manchester United having been among those reportedly interested in signing the former Al Ahly ace.
Sobhi, 20, joined the Potters from the Egyptian giants just 12 months ago, but has already been rewarded for the immense promise he has showcased over the last year.
In an exclusive interview with stokecityfc.com, Sobhi spoke of his delight at putting pen to paper: “I received a friendly and good welcome from everyone at the Club, including my teammates and the management team in my first season. Thanks to the fans for the support they gave me throughout last season.
“I’m delighted to be signing this contract. I’m proud to be part of this Club and I’m determined to repay Stoke City for the faith they showed in me in signing me at just 19.
“Last season was good but I am confident that the best is yet to come. Shukran.”
