Three years after being named 2014 African Nations Championship (CHAN) Player of the Tournament, Ejike Uzoenyi makes a return to Cape Town.
The Nigeria international recently joined Ajax Cape Town, with the wing-wizard desperate to re-ignite the form that earned him continental recognition.
Uzoenyi, who is best remembered for the brace he scored against Bafana Bafana in the Mother City, would go on to represent the Super Eagles at the FIFA World Cup in Brazil that same year.
Spells at Mamelodi Sundowns and Bidvest Wits would duly follow, but injury has hampered what promised to be a blossoming career.

Back in Cape Town, Uzoenyi hopes to return to his best form as the Urban Warriors aim to improve on what was a disappointing 2016-17 Premier Soccer League (PSL) campaign.
"Cape Town is like a home for me, Cape Town gave me a platform and changed my life," Uzoenyi told the SABC.
"I am happy to be back, I have a good feeling about being back in Cape Town and I am positive that things will work out for me here. This feels like home and I am delighted to be back," he concluded.
