Ahead of their 2018 World Cup qualifier against Congo on Friday, Ghana have arrived safely in Kumasi.

The Black Stars’ camp saw 11 of the 24 players called up report for duty on the first day of training.

Head coach James Kwesi Appiah oversaw a recovery training session at the Golden Tulip Hotel premises.

According to GHANASoccernet, captain Asamoah Gyan, his deputy Andre Ayew and brother Jordan are yet to report to camp.

Turkey-based Joseph Attamah is set to arrive tonight, as are US-based duo Jonathan Mensah and Harrison Afful.
