Latest reports suggest that Swansea City could miss out on the signing of Wilfried Bony.
The 28-year-old has been hotly tipped with a return to South Wales, with the forward having struggled for game time since moving to Manchester City in January 2015.
Bony spent last season on-loan at Stoke City, but failed to make a real impact at the Potters and has been duly left out of Ivory Coast's latest squad for upcoming 2018 FIFA World Cup Qualifiers.
CITY DEMAND £13 MILLION FOR WILFRIED BONY
The Elephants take on Gabon in back-to-back fixtures early next month, with the West Africans aiming to hold onto their place atop Group C.
Russian club Spartak Moscow have emerged as front-runners to sign the burly striker, with the added pulling power of UEFA Champions League football to tempt Bony.
Bony has attracted reported interest from China and Turkey with Valencia and Olympique Marseille also among possible suitors.
