Bafana Bafana midfielder Kamohelo Mokotjo wants the South African team to produce the same performance they did against Nigeria when playing in their World Cup qualifier on Friday.
The South Africans are in Cape Verde for their Group D, 2018 FIFA World Cup qualifier.
Although he missed the 2-0 win over the Super Eagles in June in their 2019 CAF African Cup of Nations qualifier, the midfielder wants the same application from his teammates.
A win for Stuart Baxter's men in the first leg will boost their chances of reaching the global showpiece in Russia.

"The atmosphere has been good in camp, of course I missed out on the Nigeria game, but the boys managed to get a good result,” said Mokotjo.
“They looked very well structured, they put in a good performance. Hopefully we can take all the good things that we did in that game and we can continue doing the good work.
"Playing away from home, we have to play effectively to get the result. The main goal is the World Cup in Russia, so results are the most important thing."
The first leg encounter will be staged in Praia at Estadio Nacional at 20:30 (CAT), with the return leg set for the Moses Mabhida Stadium in Durban next Tuesday.
