Nigerian international Wilfried Ndidi is expected to play for English Premier League (EPL) club Leicester City on Monday.
The midfielder reportedly had a 'cramp' after resuming training with team after returning from national duty in Uyo, Nigeria on Saturday.
Ndidi played the entire match as the Super Eagles of Nigeria secured qualification to the 2018 FIFA World Cup finals with a 1-0 win over Zambia.
City head coach Craig Shakespeare has stated that Ndidi is available for the team's EPL clash with West Bromwich Albion on Monday.
“It is always a strange week international week," Shakespeare told club website.
"But playing Monday has helped us this time in terms of getting everyone back and getting a clean bill of health.
“There was a scare about Wilfred Ndidi but it was only cramp," the City manager added.
“He trained today (Thursday) fully. He is fine, no problems there."
The 20-year-old midfielder is yet to miss a league game thus far this season having started City's seven league matches.
