Liberty Professionals are considered as one of the best run clubs in Ghana thanks to the talents they have produced for the country.

The club, formed in 1996 by ex-player Alhaji Sly Tetteh, have used a scientific approach to the management of a football throughout their history.

The club started their first season in the second division of Ghana's football leagues, but were promoted to the country's top-flight within their second season.

Since then the club has consistently maintained respectable performances while churning out some of the country's best players.

The Accra-based play their matches at the Dansoman Park which can seat up to 2,000 people.

Even though they are yet to win a major trophy in the country they have produced some of the world's best players including Michael Essien, Derek Boateng, Sulley Muntari, Asamoah Gyan, Peter Ofori Quaye and John Paintsil.

Some of the best players in the current team includes goalkeeper Daniel Agyei, Michael Helegbe, Samuel Ayew Yeboah and Latif Salifu.
