ASEC Mimosas

ASEC Mimosas are a football club based in Abidjan, Ivory Coast. ASEC stands for Association Sportive des Employes de Commerce and the club was founded in 1948.

Nicknamed the Black and Yellows, ASEC, who are one of the most supported clubs in Ivory Coast, have lifted 24 Ivorian Premier Division titles and they have also 18-time Ivorian Cup winners.

In Africa, the Abidjan-based side have won the CAF Champions League once in 1998, before clinching the CAF Super Cup the following year.

Siaka Traore, the Black and Yellows head coach, is hoping to guide the team to their second Champions League title in 2016.
