Crowned Côte
d’Ivoire’s champions for the first time in their history in 2012, Séwé Sport de
San Pedro also qualified for their first CAF Champions League’s Group phase
ever.

The Portuaires defeated successively Horoya
AC from Guinea, Sudanese giants Al Hilal and Moroccan outfit FUS Rabat to get
there.

Far ahead in the
Ivoirian’s Ligue 1 standings and close from bagging a second national title in
a row, Rigo Gervais’ men are aiming for a spot in the last four of the
prestigious continental tournament.

To reach their
objective, they will have to fight with Espérance de Tunis, Recreativo do
Libolo and Coton Sport de Garoua in Group B.
