Kaizer Chiefs enter the 2015/16 season as defending league and MTN8 champions, and it is certainly not titles they will give up easily.

The start of the 2014/15 season saw them in impressive form as the lifted the MTN8 crown before going on a run in the league that saw them unbeaten for the better half of a season and consequently lifting the Absa Premiership crown with quite a few games still to go

Still, there have been a number of changes at Chiefs at the start of the 2015/16 campaign which have seen coach Stuart Baxter depart the club to be replaced by Steve Komphela. Moreover, their defensive talisman and captain, Tefu Mashamaite left the club which could leave a huge gap in defence.

One of Chiefs best assets in the 2014/15 campaign was their defensive record and in order to keep it tight at the back the Amakhosi have brought in international defender Siyanda Xulu as well as Keegan Ritchie and Daniel Cardoso.

Upfront Chiefs struggled for goals and have acquired the services of Bongani Ndulula and Camaldine Abraw to try rectify matters.
