Unisport du Haut-Nkam are out of the 2015 CAF Confederation Cup after suffering a 2-3 defeat on aggregate to Senegalese side Olympique de Ngor in the preliminary round.
While enjoying a 1-0 home win in Douala in the first leg a fortnight ago, the Cameroonians didn’t manage to hold onto their advantage, falling 3-1 away in Dakar in the return leg on Saturday.
Olympique de Ngor striker Mouhamed Sene hit a brace in the first ten minutes of the game, with midfielder Ismaila Niang adding to the visitors’ misery in the 15th minute.
The ‘Flambeau de l’Ouest’ pulled a goal back on the stroke of full time but it was too little too late for Haschou Kerrido and his teammates who also conceded their first goals of the year on the occasion.
Olympique de Ngor will battle Ghana’s Hearts of Oak in the next round.
