Hearts of Oak hold a slim advantage against Olympique de Ngor in their Confederation Cup round 32 return leg on Saturday at the M’bour Stadium.
In the first leg, the Phobians rallied from a goal to beat Ngor 2-1 at the Accra Sports Stadium some three weeks ago.
Olympique Ngor took a shock lead through Robert Badiane but Hearts levelled through their Togolese import Foovi Aguidi.
The club's top scorer Gilbert Fiamenyo came off the bench to score the winner.
Ghana U20 duo Owusu Bempah and Seidu Mutawakilu will be making a return to Senegal where they won bronze at the just ended African Youth Championship.
South African defender Shaun October has been ruled out of the game due to an infection after their Elite Cup match against FC Istanbul.
But Leonard Tawiah, Paul Acquah, Hamza Mohammed, and Selasi Adjei have all returned to training after picking up various injuries in our previous games.
Despite the narrow win, Hearts coach Herbert Addo believes he can blunt the Senegalese side in their own backyard.
“We could have won by a big margin, but it is no problem,” coach Addo said after the first league tie.
“I have got a chance to see them because when I meet a team once, I will deal with them the second time. So let us hope that I will get all my players fit and we can have a complete team and bench. We won here, fine, but to me going away we play better because there is less pressure on the players. We are not going to defend; for that one, I am sure. I am hoping we get a better performance in Senegal.”
“We did not play according to the roles and the formation coach gave us so things were not going on well for us. At times the game will change so you change according to it. I got two chances and I could have killed the game in 15 minutes, but football is something else.”
Olympique de Ngor have not lost in their last two games since they lost in Accra.
They drew 1-1 with AS Douanes and beat Pikine 4-1.
The Senegalese side overturned a 1-0 score to beat Unifang of Cameroon 3-1 in the first round.
