Algeria's MO Bejaia managed to come back with a point after playing to a 0-0 draw against Ghana's SC Medema in their CAF Confederation Cup, Group A match on Wednesday.
The match was held at Sekondi-Takoradi Stadium in Ghana on Wednesday with the visitors aiming for a positive result.
Following the draw, the Crabs now have four points and sit at number two behind leaders TP Mazembe who have six points.
Bejaia came looking for an early goal as they were motivated after beating Young Africans of Tanzania 1-0 in their opening group match.
Despite their hunger and motivation for this tie, they failed to unlock the hosts defence and it was 0-0 at half time.
The second half saw both sides chasing a goal as they showed desperation in an aim to bag the full three points.
However, goals were not easy to find for the the two giants and the match ended in a dull goalless stalemate.
Bejaia will now take aim at their next opponents which is Mazembe in their next match away in Lubumbashi on July 17.
Looking at the hosts, they remain rooted at the third spot with one point. Their next match against Yanga in Tanzania is on July 15.
However, the trip to Dar es-Salaam depends on their President Moses Armah who has threatened to pull out of the tournament before the match due to lack of financial support from the Confederation of African Football (CAF).

Ghanaian side Sporting Club Medeama will want to bounce back to winning ways as they prepare to welcome Algeria's MO Bejaia on Wednesday, in a CAF Confederation Cup Group A tie.
The Ghanaian's, also known as the Proudly Colourful of the West, are desperate for a win to ensure they remain in the race for the knock-out stages.
Losing 3-1 to last year's CAF Champions League champions, TP Mazembe, means they must now fight harder to win at home.
Medeama sit at the bottom of the log table with zero points and a win will revive their hopes of moving up the log table.
However, facing Bejaia, who are high in confidence having beaten Tanzania's Young Africans 1-0 in their first match, is set to be a challenge.
Looking at Bejaia, they are aware that meeting Medeama in Ghana is not an easy assignment.
The visitors will want to add to Medeama's woes as the hosts lost their Ghanaian Premier League tie 1-0 to New Edubiase, leading up to the clash.
The Crabs occupy the second spot behind Mazembe and a win will take them to six points which means they can challenge the Democratic Republic of Congo side on for top spot.
This encounter is scheduled to get underway at Sekondi-Takoradi Stadium in Ghana on Wednesday afternoon.
