Saint George stunned AS Vita Club 1-0 in the 2017 CAF Champions League Group C game at the Addis Ababa Stadium on Sunday afternoon.
The hard-fought victory sees Ethiopian side move to position two on the group standings, while DR Congolese giants Vita remain fourth on the table.
Saladin Said, who has scored five goals in this year's Champions League, started up front for Kidus Giorgis, who were targeting their first win in Group C.
Although, Saint George dominated possession, while creating chances, but they were struggling to convert their opportunities.
As a result, the first-half ended goalless as the Black Dolphins contained Saint George, who are under the guidance of Dutch coach Mart Nooij.

Oumar Sibide was introduced by the Vita technical team in the 71st minute as the visitors looked to level matters in the closing stages of the game.
Although, Vita launched late attacks in search of a goal, Saint George held onto their slender lead and they ran out 1-0 winners on the day.
