Power Dynamos have suffered a setback in the 2015 CAF Confederation Cup after losing 1-0 away to Al Khartoum of Sudan on Saturday night.
Al Khartoum who are are coached by ex-Black Stars coach Kwesi Appiah scored the games lone goal in the first half of the two sides preliminary round, first leg match played in Khartoum.
Ex-Cotonsport striker Dauda Camilo scored in the 20th minute after the Cameroon striker beat the offside trap when he latched on to a long pass from Ghana midfielder Johan Arthur.
Two minutes later, Camilo again had the ball at the back of Power's net but his goal was disallowed.
Ten minutes from fulltime, Power were fortunate to remain with eleven men after striker Alex Ngonga escaped with a yellow card for elbowing an Al Khartoum defender.
Power host Al Khartoum at Arthur Davies Stadium in Kitwe on March 1 needing a 2-0 home win to advance to the first round of the Confederation.
Winner over both legs will play either Polisi of Zanzibar or Gabonese club CF Mounana in the first round, first leg away in mid-March.
