ES Sétif and MC El Eulma played out a 2-2 draw in Sétif on Friday night, in their final Group B outing of the 2015 CAF Champions League.
Already out of the race for a semifinals spot ahead of their encounter at Stade du 8 mai 1945, the two Algerian sides were looking to bid farewell to their continental campaign on a high note.
Midfielder Nadir Korichi put the visitors ahead after 11 minutes of play, to send El Eulma with a narrow lead into the break.
However, El Hedi Belameiri levelled matters for the defending champions just past the hour mark, before Central African Republic forward Eudes Dagoulou gave the ‘Black Eagles’ the lead ten minutes from time.
But Eulma’s striker Abdelmalek Abbes grabbed an equaliser with a last-minute effort, to hand the tournament’s minnows their first point in the competition.
