Stade Malien crashed out of the 2015 CAF Confederation Cup following a 1-1 stalemate against Etoile Sportive du Sahel at the Stade Modibo Keita in the Malian capital on Sunday evening.
Malien required nothing but a win to keep their chances of progression alive, but ultimately came up short as their Tunisian counterparts booked their place in the final four alongside African heavyweights Al Ahly.
Etoile and Al Ahly are locked on 10 points apiece atop Group A heading into the final round of group fixtures.
The hosts created the bulk of the chances in the opening hour, but it would be the visitors to open the scoring on 64 minutes.

A stoppage time equaliser by M Coulibaly proved to be a mere consolation as Etoile booked their place in the semifinals alongside Al Ahly, Orlando Pirates and Zamalek.
