Al Ahly recorded a convincing 3-0 victory over Township Rollers in the 2018 CAF Champions League A match at the Borg El Arab Stadium in Egypt on Tuesday.
As a result, Egyptian giants Al Ahly climbed up to second spot on the group standings, while Botswana's Rollers moved down to third place.

Rollers tried to push for the equalizing goal, but they could not penetrate the Al Ahly defence which looked solid and organized.

The Red Devils nearly doubled their lead 10 minutes after the restart following a mistake by the Blues defence.
Masule came out of his goal and he failed to punch the ball leaving the net open, but Mo’men Zakaria failed to punished him as he missed the target.
Motsholetsi Sikele, who is an attacking midfielder by trade, was introduced by Rollers head coach Nikola Kavazovic in the 64th minute as the away side looked to level matters.
However, the Al Ahly were awarded a penalty in the 73rd minute which was conceded by Mosha Gaolaolwe.
Maaloul stepped up and made no mistake as he beat Masule to make it 2-0 to Al Ahly much to the delight of the home crowd with 15 minutes left on the clock.
The momentum was with the Red Devils in the closing stages of the game and they managed to extend their lead in the 79th minute.
Islam Mohareb headed home Azarou's delightful cross to make it 3-0 to Al Ahly with Masule caught leaving his line.
The last chance of the game fell for Azarou in the 90th minute, but the striker missed the target from a one-on-one situation and ultimately, Al Ahly ran out 3-0 winners.
