Etoile du Sahel have booked their place in the quarter-finals of the 2019 Caf Confederations Cup alongside Tunisian rivals CS Sfaxien.
The Red and White beat Salitas 1-0 at Stade Olympique de Sousse in Sousse on Sunday afternoon to confirm their place in the knockout stages as Group B runners-up.
Sfaxien, three three-time champions of the competition, advance as group winners following a 1-0 win over Enugu Rangers in Nigeria at the same time. Etoile have won the competition dominated by North African teams, on two previous occasions.
Mohamed Ben Larbi scored the only goal of the game in the sixth minute. The midfielder making no mistake after latching onto a ball from Wajdi Kechrida.
Both teams created several chance to alter the scoreboard, but neither could do so as Salitas bowed out of the competition having failed to record a single group stage win.
