Nigeria striker Kelechi Osunwa has again emerged winner of this
year’s Sudanese Premier league.

Osunwa’s club Al Merreikh beat Merreikh El Fasher 2-0 in the last
match of the season to clinch their 19th league championship.

They emerged champions with 63 points
from 26 matches and will thus represent Sudan in next year's CAF Champions League.
Osunwa, 29, has won two league championships
in Sudan.

The former Dolphins star has bounced back from a
career-threatening knee injury that needed surgery in England.

This is the second time the Sudanese
team will win the title in three years, having won in 2011.

Al Ahly Shendi, who parade one-time
Nigeria U23 striker Francis Ikechukwu, finished third to secure a CAF
Confederation Cup ticket next year.
