Leaders Power Dynamos picked up a fortunate away win on Sunday after defeating Nchanga Rangers 1-0 away in Chililabombwe.

Power move three points clear of the pack to 12 points after four games played ahead of second placed Zesco United who have a game in hand.

However, Power were against the ropes for most of the game at Nchanga where the hosts hit the post four times on their way to recording their second successive league defeat.

Nchanga striker Patson Daka even had the ball in the back of the net in the 19th minute but his goal was ruled out for offside.

Bornwell Mwape hit the cross bar in the 38th minute and Daka too was denied by the horizontal in the 43rd minute.

Power sneaked in the three points in the 45th minute through Jimmy Ndhlovu who met Kennedy Mudenda cross from the left wing to seal the win.

The visitors were given a late scare in stoppage time when Nchanga striker Nawa Nawa thumped his close range effort onto the post.

Nchanga drop from seventh to eighth on seven points after Sunday's loss.

Meanwhile, Konkola Mine Police made a modest recovery from their  6-0 away loss at Power on April 5 to hold visiting Red Arrows in the late kick off at the same venue.

However, Mine Police rallied from 1-0 after Daniel Sibanda put Arrows ahead in the 14th minute to share the points.

Andrew Tampwila equalised from the penalty spot in the 48th minute and seven minutes later went ahead through Clement Mwape after he headed in a Harrison Kaonga corner.

And then Arrows won a dubious penalty for a mysterious handball in the 64th minute that was converted by Dube Phiri.

Arrows move one place up the table from eighth to seventh on six points from five games played.

Mine Police too moved up from 11th to ninth place with four points from three matches with a game in hand.
