Relatively unknown Nigerian striker Peter Olayinka is a league champion in Northern Cyprus after his goals helped Yenicami AK win the championship.

"I am so happy and excited with this achievement. The entire community is celebrating us because they have waited for this for 30 years,” he said.
“I scored 14 goals and would have scored more but I played more as winger not as a point man. I am hoping for a double because we will play cup final this weekend against Lefke."
The 18-year-old striker, who played for Bylis Ballsh last season, said he now wishes to get a call-up to the Nigeria U20 team.
"I am looking forward to getting a call-up to play for U20 team of Nigeria, I know there are lots of good players there but I can contribute well if given the chance," he said.
