Ghana coach Kwesi Appiah has included Mahatma Otoo, Kwabena Adusei, goalkeeper Razak Brimah and Yussif Chibsah in a 30-man provisional World Cup squad submitted to FIFA.
The quartet were not among the 26 players named by the coach on Monday during his press conference to announce his squad.
Otoo has been in top form for his Norwegian side Sogndal where he has scored four goals in seven league matches.
Adusei plays for Ghanaian champions Asante Kotoko and was impressive at the 2014 African Nations Championship.
Youngster Chisbah is in the stables of Serie A side Sassuolo.
Brimah will be making a return to the team after his last appearance in September.
The Black Stars will begin a three-day non-residential camping next Tuesday.
