Rwanda have held Libya to a goalless draw on Sunday afternoon at the Radès Stadium, in the first leg of their Africa Cup of Nations Morocco 2015 qualifier.

Due to the ongoing instability in Libya, CAF had relocated their home game in the Tunisian capital.

That remains an uncomfortable result for the Knights of the Mediterranean, who are now facing a tricky trip to Kigali to try to book their spot in the next qualifying round.

But they can take some kind of comfort in the fact that they didn’t concede any home goals, which will keep ‘Amavubi’ very alert in the return match in a fortnight.

The Wasps are aiming for their second ever appearance at the continental event, more than ten years after their first and only Africa Cup of Nations finals in 2004 in Tunisia.

The 2014 African Championship winners, meanwhile, are looking to compete in their fourth edition, having enjoyed runners-up status on their home ground in 1982 before two early exits in 2006 and 2012.

The winners of this double clash will face Congo or Namibia in the next round.
