Striker Festus Mbewe says he hopes to help lift Nkana from the bottom of Group B in the 2014 CAF Confederation Cup.
Mbewe has missed Nkana's African engagements over the last half-a-year following his recent return from a six-month loan spell at South African side Golden Arrows.
The 25-year-old striker opened his Nkana account last Saturday just days after getting his FIFA clearance when he scored the defending Zambian champions first goal in a 3-1 home league win over bottom placed Konkola Mine Police.
"I am looking forward to the continental games as you can see we haven't done well, we are last on the log in the group stage," Mbewe told AfricanFootball.com.
"We have home advantage in our next two games now and we are looking forward to picking up points from them."
Nkana are currently bottom of Group B with one point ahead of their July 26 game against Etoile du Sahel of Tunisia at Nkana Stadium in Kitwe.
They will follow up that will another Kitwe date against Al Ahly of Egypt on August 9.
Al Ahly and Etoile are first and second on five points respectively while Sewe Sport of Cote d'Ivoire are third on three points at the end of match-day-three in the CAF Confederation Cup.
