Nigeria league champions Kano Pillars have signed Isaac Loute, who has been capped by Benin Republic at full international level.

The former Lobi Stars player told AfricanFootball.com he is happy with the deal and looking forward to help Pillars retain the league championship.

"I have signed for Kano Pillars, it is a good offer for me and I can't wait to start playing for the them. I am looking forward to help the team retain the league title," said Nigeria-born Loute.

Loute, who could play as a midfielder and striker, will play as a left back for Pillars in the second round.

"I will play as left back in Pillars. I could as well be useful as a midfielder as that was the position I started with,” he said.

Loute has played for Lobi Stars, Gateway FC, Solie FC (Benin Republic), Manga Sports of Gabon, Krake (Benin Republic) and Sharks FC.
