Nigeria champions Kano Pillars will be $150,000 richer after midfielder Shehu Abdullahi agreed a year’s deal with top Kuwaiti club Qadsia Sports Club.
The deal is worth $480,000 with the player pocketing $330,000.
Players’ agent Olanrewaju Famakinwa told AfricanFootball.com he is delighted the deal has been sealed.
"I am happy now that the deal has materialised. I know Shehu and the club won't regret this union. Pillars got $150,000 from the deal while Shehu will pocket $330,000," Famakinwa, who also represents Gomo Onduku, told AfricanFootball.com
The Super Eagles midfielder has been assigned jersey number 4, which he requested for.
He will be presented to the press and fans on Saturday.
Pillars ace Shehu had gone to Kuwait last week to see what the club have on ground and returned to consult with his family before he returned on Thursday alongside his representative Famakinwa.
He told AfricanFootball.com he is delighted with the deal.
"I am happy to be back to sign the deal with Qadsia. It is nice to be here and I am ready for action," Shehu told AfricanFootball.com
