Zambia and Power Dynamos midfielder Lubambo Musonda has left the country for trials in Europe.
Sources revealed to AfricanFootball.com that the 19-year-old left Zambia on Friday for trials at an unnamed Russian club.
Power coach Tennant Chilumba refused to comment on Lubambo's departure but confirmed the midfielder would not be part of the sides’ FAZ Super Division home match against Indeni on Sunday in Kitwe.
"I think on that one I cannot comment . That is an administrative issue," Chilumba told AfricanFootball.com.
Efforts to get Power club secretary Ricky Mamfunda on Friday evening for further details on Lubambo’s departure were unsuccessful.
Lubambo hit the headlines on June 6 after scoring a stunning late goal in Zambia's 4-3 friendly defeat to Japan in Florida, USA.
The midfielder, who is also Zambia Under-20 captain, is currently in his second season at Power on loan from FAZ Division One South side K-Stars.
