Botswana drew 1-1 away to Guinea Bissau on Saturday to advance to the final group phase qualifier of the 2015 Africa Cup.
The Zebras advance to the final qualifying round 3-1 on aggregate after beating the West Africans 2-0 on July 19 in Gaborone.
Portuguese based striker Ivanildo of Academica put the hosts ahead in the 19th minute and the scoreline remain like that well into the dying minutes of the match.
Striker Jerome Ramatlhakwane of DR Congo club Don Bosco ended Guinea Bissau's slim hopes of advancing with a 90th minute equaliser to see Botswana through.
Botswana now head into Group G comprising Senegal, 2004 champions and three-time finalists Tunisia and record seven time champions Egypt.
Meanwhile, The Zebra's head to Tunis for their opening Group G match on September 6 for a reunion with Tunisia whom they beat 1-0 home and away in the 2012 qualifiers on their way to making their Africa Cup debut in Gabon and Equatorial Guinea.
