Al Ahly and Etoile du Sahel will both be looking to book their places in the semifinals of the 2014 CAF Confederation Cup when they meet in a Group B encounter at Cairo Stadium on Saturday.
With one game each to go, all four teams still have an opportunity to qualify for the last four.
Al Ahly lead the way with eight points, followed closely by Nkana FC and Sewe Sport, with seven and six points, respectively, while Etoile are in last place with five points.
A point will be enough to send Al Ahly to the next round but team manager and club legend Wael Gomaa says they will go for all three points.
“It’s a very difficult encounter, but we are positive our players are going to give their all to win this game,” Gomaa said.
“Our previous games count for history now. We will do our best to win and qualify.”
When the two sides met in the reverse fixture in Sousse back in May the match ended in a 1-1 draw with Baghdad Bounedjah firing the Tunisians ahead just before half time, while Amr Gamal responded for Al Ahly at the hour mark.
The two sides, who are both nicknamed the Red Devils, have previously met in twice in the CAF Champions League final, with Al Ahly triumphing in 2005, while Etoile were able to avenge the loss two year later.
Al Ahly have won both Group B matches they have played at home, while Etoile are yet to register a win on the road.
