Mozambique coach Joao Chissano believes the pressure will be on Zambia when the two sides meet in their 2015 Africa Cup of Nations Group F opener on Saturday.
The two sides will meet at the Levy Mwanawasa Stadium in Ndola and Chissano believes their underdog status may work in their favour.
"History says that Zambia has had the better of Mozambique and the recent clashes between the two sides also reflect this same,” Chissano said. “So, the pressure is on the side of Zambians, because they’ll be playing at home.
“We can use this factor as a weapon for us by keeping possession and causing some anxiety and nervousness which we can take advantage of.
"We have lost to Zambia in the past but nothing lasts forever. Maybe this time we can win; that is our aim.
“A good result from this game would give us greater motivation for Niger, who are also tough opponents.
“We have to be aggressive with and without the ball, more than we did in previous rounds against Tanzania and South Sudan."
