Gabon will look to continue with their winning ways when they travel to Maseru to face Lesotho in their second Group C Africa Cup of Nations qualifier at the Setsoto Stadium on Wednesday.
Gabon got their qualifying campaign off to a winning start with a slender 1-0 win over Angola in their opening match this past weekend.
Samson Mbingui scored the goal for Gabon which sees them in second place in Group C on three points, only behind Burkina Faso (on goal difference) who beat Lesotho 2-0 in their opening game.
Lesotho will be hoping to bounce back after their loss to Burkina Faso when sloppy defending allowed Jonathan Pitroipa and Alain Traoré to breach their goalline.
The loss leaves Lesotho at the bottom of the group on zero points, the same tally as Angoal, but with a worse goal difference.
Gabon will be favourites heading into this match and have history on their side as well.
The two countries have met on two previous occasions, both in 2008. At home in Libreville, in June 2008, Gabon ran out 2-0 winners while three months later in Bloemfontein, South Africa, Lesotho suffered a 3-0 loss.
