Cape Verde will look to turn the tables on Mozambique when the two sides meet in a 2015 CAF Africa Cup of Nations qualifier at the Estádio Nacional de Cabo Verde in Praia on Wednesday.

The Blue Sharks suffered a 2-0 defeat at the hands of Mozambique on Saturday afternoon in Matola with Kito and Reginaldo finding the back of the net for the home side.

Despite the loss, Cape Verde remain at the top of Group F with six points, followed by Mozambique with five points, while Zambia and Niger are in the bottom half with three points each.

Rui Arguas’ side will now look register a second win at home, having managed to beat Zambia 2-1 in Praia at the start of September.

Mozambique will aim to register their second win after starting their campaign with back-to-back draws against Zambia and Niger before beating Cape Verde this past weekend.

The Mambas will be without star player Elias Pelembe Domingues, who will miss the game through suspension after picking up a yellow card on Saturday.

Coach Joao Chissano will now look to change his attacking options with Orlando Pirates striker Helder Pelembe also doubtful for the clash after missing Saturday’s encounter due to injury.

The other match in Group F will see Zambia taking on Niger at the Levy Mwanawasa Stadium in Ndola.
