Defending FAZ Super Division champions Zesco United have signed the Nigerian duo of striker Christopher Chigozie and defender Ayo Oluwafemi.

Zesco club media officer Chengo Katebe said the duo is part of the three foreign signings the Zambian champions have made for the 2015 season who include Kenyan defender David Odhiambo from Gor Mahia.

Chigozie joins Zesco from Nigerian club Bayelsa United while ex-University of Pretoria defender Oluwafemi arrives at the four-time Zambian champions as a free agent.

The two players follow in the footsteps of Nigerian-born Togo international defender Emmanuel Mathias who spent the 2014 season on loan at the Ndola club from Mamelodi Sundowns.

"The club has since opened talks with Mamelodi Sundown’s to extend Togolese Mathias Emmanuel’s loan deal," Chengo said.

Zesco are bolstering their team ahead of the sides’ 2015 CAF Champions League campaign that they kick off next month with a preliminary round tie against Swaziland side Mbabane Swallows. CLICK HERE TO VISIT AFRICAN FOOTBALL ZAMBIA
