Nigerian midfielder Chigozie Christopher has told AfricanFootball.com he hopes to achieve greatness with Zambian champions Zesco United.
The former Dolphins player joined Zesco United this winter transfer window on a year’s deal and said he joined up because they are one of the best clubs in Africa and are very ambitious.
"My set target is to win the Zambian league and the cup with Zesco United because they are the defending champions,” the former Ocean boys star said.
“And I want to do my best to see that we make good impact in the CAF Champions League. I joined the team because they are big here in Zambia and one of the big teams in Africa too."
He said he has been most impressed with the working conditions and organisation of the league in Zambia.
"There are very big difference between Nigeria league and Zambia, Nigeria clubs don't treat us well, they don't encourage us at all. Here in Zambia, everything is done in the right way,” he said.
“It is professional enough. The facilities, the payment and everything are better than what we have in my country Nigeria."
Zesco are currently in South African preparing for the league and CAF Champions League.
