Honour Janza is very likely to stay on as Zambia coach despite failing to guide Chipolopolo to the quarterfinals of the 2015 Africa Cup.
A source very familiar with the situiation told AfricanFootball.com that the Football Association Zambia executive has decided to stick with Janza.
"He is staying because FAZ feels he didn't do that badly although they were some issues with that loss to Tunisia," the official said.
"But the whole issue of giving Janza a longterm contract is a tedious process when you think that Government will have to help with his salary.
"It is not as easy as people think because papers have to go to the Attorney General and all. It is a back-and-forth process but he (Janza) will eventually be given a contract."
Janza has been in interim charge of Zambia since August, 2014 following the departure of Frenchman Patrice Beaumelle who took up the Cote d'Ivoire assistant coaching job.
Janza's Zambia record from twelve games in charge currently stands at four wins, five draws and three defeats.
