Nigerian striker Prince Nnake was the hero of his Egyptian team Al Asyoty Sport as he came off the bench to score in a 1 - 1 draw at home with El Hodood on Wednesday.
Al Asyoty are bottom of the 20-team league table with eight points from 20 games.
Nnake, who scored the equaliser from the penalty spot in the concluding minutes of the game, has now scored three goals in nine games in the league.
"I feel good to have scored again, the goal saves us from losing the game at home,” Nnake said.
"I give glory to God and I dedicated the goal to my late dad who passed on in January. I knew he is watching me and happy for me."
Islam took the ball from the right wing and dribbled his way into the 18-yard box before an opponent brought him down and Nnake shouldered the responsibility to play the resulting penalty.
The 25-year-old striker has previously played for FC Abuja, Dolphins, Sharks, Kwara United (all in Nigeria), Royale Union Saint-Gilloise (Belgium) and Tersana SC(Egypt).
