Equatorial Guinea defender Rui Fernando da Gracia says he is happy with how things turned out for them at Afcon 2015.The host nation finished fourth after losing on penalties to DRC in the third and fourth playoff.
"We tried to fight for this third place. After, the penalty shootout is a lottery. But I am happy with my team," he said.
Gracia said as much as they received no medal after all the hard work, he is grateful for what the team achieved in such a short space of time.
"We managed to achieve some great things in a short time. Everyone knows it is difficult to build a team in 20 days,” he said.
