There is no break for Botswana’s two CAF sides, BDF XI and Township Rollers.

While other teams will have a break during the Mascom Top 8 this coming weekend, the two will participate in the cup action.

Today [Wednesday] they will play their Week 20 matches, and over the weekend they will battle it out in the cup games. Both sides are, however, a little worried about the hectic schedule.

Rollers have many players who are available for selection in the league and cup games.

The four who have not been registered for CAF, Dirang Moloi, Noah Maposa, Jerome Ramatlhakwane and Thsepo Motlhabankwe, are all available for selection.

Even though Otlaantshekela Moooketsi is out injured from the clash against Kaizer Chiefs, all the other players are available.

BDF XI will also have a near full strength squad, with the likes of Ofentse Mmipi now nearing full fitness.

The two sides will play against each other on Sunday, which will be their final game before they go for their return leg CAF assignments.

Coincidentally they played each other before the first leg of CAF in the league and they will get the same opportunity now in a cup game before the second legs.
