SC Villa Coach Sam Ssimbwa has called on his players to go all out and pick a big win against in-form Rwenshama FC in a Uganda Premier League (UPL) match at Nakivubo Stadium on Tuesday.

“We need to prove a point and pick a good win so that we go top of the table. Our opponents have been in good form and won all their two matches in the second round of the League,” explained Ssimbwa.

SC Villa are currently second on the log with a lower goal difference than table leaders KCCA FC who also have 36 points. “I respect Rwenshama as a team and I am aware several things about them have changed since they signed a new coach,” added Ssimbwa.

The blues will hope that new signing Chrizestom Ntambi can continue with his good scoring form after he scored the lone goal in the 1-0 win over Sadolin Paints FC last week. Attacking midfielder Steven Bengo is likely to miss the game after having a burst up with the coach Ssimbwa last week.

But Rwenshama FC who are third from the bottom of the log will hope that the duo of Deogratious Ochola and Duncan Sseninde who scored in the win over army side Simba SC last week find their form against a well organised SC Villa side.

While the match between KCCA FC and Sc Victoria University has been postponed to give the defending champions chance to prepare better for an away tie in the CAF Champions League tie, two others games will be played on Tuesday.

Coach Fred Kajoba’s Bright Stars will host Kira Young, while Soana take on Uganda’s representatives in the CAF Confederations Cup URA FC.
